Launch Waitlist Emails: If you voluntarily choose to be notified of our official launch via the "Notify Me" feature, we store your email address solely to send you service announcements and launch updates.

Edge Diagnostic & Telemetry Data: When fetching feeds, standard edge network metadata (such as anonymized IP country/city, user agent, and aggregate reading session duration) may be processed to defend against DDoS/SSRF abuse and optimize feed caching.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data strictly to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the FeedOmeter RSS reader.
• Deliver launch notification emails to subscribed users.
• Protect against malicious automated traffic and SSRF vulnerabilities.
• Monitor platform performance and uptime.

3. Local Storage & Cookies

FeedOmeter uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) to save your custom visual preferences (such as background colors and recently loaded feeds). This data resides exclusively on your device and is never shared or sold to third parties.

FeedOmeter syndicates content directly from third-party RSS feeds. Clicking outbound article links directs you to external publisher websites, whose respective privacy practices and terms apply.
